A Celebration of Punch Needle Hooking

Certified Oxford instructors create teaching samples to use in instructing students. These photos illustrate that the clarity of design depends on the height of loop. The piece on the left was punched using a #9 Oxford Punch, and the piece on the right was punched with a #11. Notice how much crisper the motif is with the lower pile.
